The San Diego 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb is a fundraising event which raises awareness and funds for the Firefighters and family members affected by line of duty injuries, illnesses, and deaths.
The 2012 Stair Climb raised over $20,000 for FirefighterAid and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation! This year's climb was bigger and more successful than last year thanks to the support of our participants and friends. Hundreds of firefighters, public safety officers, civilians, and family members gathered at the San Diego Bayfront Hilton on September 8 to honor the memories of the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We captured the spirit of the event with several photographers and a videographer and will post media from the climb here as it becomes available.
